Our preschool is equipped with the latest safety and security systems, so you can be sure that your child is always safe and secure. Visitors are required to ring our video doorbell upon arrival. Please see our visitors policy for further details.
We maintain a high staff to child ratio to ensure your child receives the attention and care they deserve.
At Butterflies we pride ourselves on being an eco friendly setting and use biodegradable and recyclable resources where possible.
Our Loose Parts Garden
Our ‘loose parts’ courtyard garden has a large sandpit, mud kitchen and lots of open ended resources to spark the children's imagination and curiosity. Loose parts are any object, either natural or man made, that don't have a pre-defined purpose for play. Open-ended materials such as these invite curiosity and encourage imaginative play, as children are totally free in how they use them.

the sensory room
We have a new sensory room which provides an area for children to explore and use their senses. This room has mood lighting, tactile resources and soft play equipment to support physical development and sensory regulation.
Sensory rooms support children to use their senses to the full potential. This active involvement in their own play, learning and discovery changes and transforms their knowledge, their skills and abilities, their values and their ways of seeing the world.
